Despite sizing challenges and endless trips to the tailor, being petite has its perks. For one, a short hem is almost always guaranteed to fit and flatter my 5-foot-tall proportions, but I have a hard time trusting them on an especially active summer outing or when a gust of wind happens to blow through.
